Cranberry Relish

  • 1 cup maple syrup
  • 1 cup fresh cranberries
  • 1/4 cup apple cider or juice
  • zest of 1 orange

Put all the ingredients in a heavy bottom pot and turn on high heat. Once cranberries and liquid start to boil, reduce temperature to a simmer. Continue to cook for 10-15 minutes. The result will be a nice, thick sauce. Let chill and keep in the refrigerator for up to a week, or freeze.
